Kristalberg Bed and Breakfast offers spectacular views of Clear Lake from its mountain perch opposite Mount Konocti. From this elegant eagle's nest you can feast your eyes on a beautiful panorama of lake, mountains, clouds and forest, observe the red-tailed hawks soaring overhead and the swallows in their playful aerobatics. Deer can be seen grazing everywhere and occasionally wild turkeys venture close in. Lake County's clean air and unspoiled countryside are unequaled in California.

Inside, you enjoy the modern amenities of a Cape Cod home with 3 guest rooms, a congenial host who speaks German. Comfortable, elegant Victorian/European ambience where, as a guest, you can choose to stay in the spacious master suite with whirlpool tub, early American decor, a perfect honeymoon suite.

A full breakfast features home-baked items, wholesome fresh organic produce served in the formal dining room. Afternoon cheese and wine, and after-dinner sherry is also provided. To get here:
Driving from the Golden Gate Bridge: 2 1/2 hours
Take Hwy 101 north, 5 miles past Santa Rosa, turn right on Mark West Springs Rd. Go 10 miles down, turn left onto Petrified Forest Hwy. Go 5 miles to 2nd stop sign(Hwy 128), turn left Go 1 mile to Tubbs Lane, turn right. Go 1 1/2 miles to Hwy 29, turn left to Lower Lake continue straight Hwy 29 turms into Hwy 53 at Lower Lake. Take Hwy 53 to Hwy 20, turn left.
Go 12 miles to Bruner Drive, turn right and follow signs up the hill. Driving from the East Bay:2 1/2 hours
Take 680 after the bridge take 680 towards Sacramento. At Cordelia take 80 West towards San Francisco, take the Highway 12 exit towards Napa make right on Highway 29. Follow Highway 29 to Lower Lake, then continue from the signal (as above). Driving from Southern and Central California (Sacramento):
Take I-5 north, past Sacramento approx. 65 miles to Williams.
Go West on Hwy 20 for 46 miles to Bruner Drive, turn right follow signs up the hill.
